Ever since I got my 2001 Passat 1.8t it has tended to get a creamy dipstick, I did a bit of research and couldnt really get any definitive answers so I forgot about it carried on, did a full service hoping it would cure it, it didn't.
Recently the problem seems to be getting worse in the cold weather, the dipstick is absolutely caked in creamy goo (although the oil cap doesn't seem to be affected) every time I check the oil. It doesn't seem to be losing any water, although it goes through a fair bit of oil (my wife's 2.0 8v does too!), and I drive the car mainly 7-10 miles each way to work everyday so it's not getting short journeys...
Any one got any ideas as I'm getting a tad concerned??
Thanks
