At 169k am having Cambelt changed today, Friday, together with power steering and Aux belt/tensioner also being replaced. Water pump/stat was replaced at 120k and has had new coolant since with new Rad. Is it necessary to have water pump/stat replaced as well or is it still every other cambelt change to replace water pump?
Never had a failed water pump since 1980 on the 'every other cambelt' system.
