B5 front fog lights

Hi all was the front fog lights an option for a B5 or did it not come with any? I see there are some on the B5.5 would these fit a B5, are the front grilles the same for both?
I want some for mine just to tidy the front end up,is the above possible? If it is would another switch to operate them be better or use a proper light switch,
