Remote wave not locking doors

After a few searches and trials of various things i still cannot get my remote key to lock or unlock the doors.

It's true what they say about the devil making work for idle thumbs, because inside the drivers pillar, i see a little button on the drivers side pillar, with a little car with a wifi signal icon. I thought, hmm is this Wifi? No i'm joking, i did however, look it up and apparently it's to turn off the internal sensors if someone is in the car and you need to lock the doors.

Not really, i press it, then my remote key stopped working.

Now, i need to open the drivers door, and put my key in, turn it to position 2 on the barrel, to stop the alarm going off. Very very annoying, especially when it's raining and my GF is getting wet.

I've checked plenium drains and they are bone dry, and i've also tried the books re-sync procedure, and nothing is working.

The key flashes and flashes faster if button is held in.

Any help would be appreciated.
