all done

Post by bobman »

hi guys, car is finally done, replaced all 3 accessory belts plus replaced the alternator belt tensioner and also had to replace the water pump coz that was knackered, took ages to get to the water pump, and when i was readin my haynes manual it looked like i had to remove the timing belt aswell. but here is the good news for any ADR owners

YOU DONT HAVE TO REMOVE THE TIMING BELT TO REPLACE THE WATER PUMP,

you do however have to remove all the accessory belts, the viscous fan, the pulleys, the power steering pump, the alternator, the bracket that holds the alternator and power steering pump and then finally your down to the water pump

took me a while to do because i had to do it in any spare time i could get that was in daylight, also did the cam cover gasket aswell because mine had a tiny oil leak, so thats been sorted aswell.
