B5 Passat TDi buying guide

Hi all.

My name is David, and I am a newbie here.

I have done the VW thing before, with a mk2 golf gti 16v, that I owned and loved for 8 years, till I got into bikes. Looking to go back to four wheels now, so looking to buy a VW passat TDi.

I was wondering if anyone had any good advice for me, regarding things to beware of, regular problems, buying guides, etc. etc.

All tips greatly appreciated.
