Rear Pad wear sensors ?

Stupid question maybe but do the back pads on a B5.5 have wear sensors ? , fronts were replaced a few months ago and the dashboard wear light has come back on, I dont't want to go investigating what's wrong with the fronts if it's just the backs getting down to the wear limit.
