FMIC again topic

I have a b5.5 and have had quite a good look at whats available, there are some very expensive FMIC and some cheap ones
The question i have is are they actually a good fit or do you have to cut the hell out of the car to make it fit correctly ?
Looking at the ebay £200 jobbie as i really dont wana go to town on this motor
