New 2000 B5 estate owner, some problems

Hi All

Just purchased my first 2000 VW Passatt Estate TDi PD and have some minor problems if you can help.

1. Drivers door wont open from outside but ok from inside.
2. Sometimes the car cranks but doesnt start. Turn off and try again and its ok. Is this glow plugs or air getting into the fuel?
3. Rear wiper inop, anything common to failing on these? Also when operating rear washer see water in left hand of boot area by cd changer. Where does the pipe run?
4. Require a spare key, does this need to be done by the dealer?
