Moved to new house in November, house needs some work before main move. The rest of my stuff is in storage, including the manuals for my 2002 registered (52 plate) Passat 2.0 Estate 20V Petrol, 5 Door.
I need to top up the oil but have no idea which oil specification to use. My mechanic in London thinks he used 10W-40 several months ago, but I need to top up and my searches suggest using 05W-30.
Q1. Is it ok to mix 05W-30 with 10W-40?
