boot lock lazy or stuck?(b5.5)

boot lock stuck, press the remote button , and can hear the motor trying etc, but i cant open it, any one come across this problem before?

I had this last week and it seamed to fit it's self them my boot ended up jamed open and new I need a new motor.

had a similar problem on my ibiza except it was stuck open, on that there was a little clip that had gone a bit rusty so i lathered it in wd40 and kept working it open and closed, which freed it off enought for it to work on its own, although that had vacuum operated locks on that and i dont think its the same on newer stuff, but maybe a similar problem that something is stuck and the motor can no longer move the lock

My B5.5 refused to stay shut, that was a little spring within the lock that had broken.

When mine jammed i used the key overide but this was very stiff so I worked it back and forth until it popped open.

no, i need to get into the boot cover , not tboot area, tried the lock/key job its being a complete c :mrgreen: unt,any one for 5.5 spares lol, kidding
