STOP. Check Coolant

I just received the message above on the dash. Upon checking the coolant (which was suppsedly flushed about 10 months ago) I see it is brown/black sludge.

I'm hoping it's as a result of a mix of G12/G11, but am aware it could mean Head Gasket on the way out.

I was going to attempt a coolant flush, but it looks so think and sludgy, that might be tricky.

Any ideas on next steps?
