I'm thinking of going down this route as my 12 month old turbo has started smoking on start up, after just 5k miles!Ive rang the company i bought off and they wont replace it (gits)
.The k04's are now relatively cheap and are about the same price as the standard k03. Can i just put the k04 on my standard manifold, standard injectors etc?
Ive had a remap on the mods ive already got and the car runs just fine just wanted to know if it'll be a straight swap or is it gona end up costing me more to get the turbo working correctly.
I just feel that for the cost of a new turbo i'm better off buying the upgraded one for the same price.
Any help would be gr8.
