Poor thing, paid a fair bit for a good genuine car on 65k, 6 year ago, FRK gearbox whine at 120k and a rusty sprinter relegated her to being SORN.
Front on blocks, wheels stored undercover, rears pumped up to 40 PSI and rotated every 3-4 months.
19mm 12 point on crank and rotated clockwise(when looking at the front) every 3-4 months.
So mainly what I'm asking about is fuel and electrical contacts. I spray contact cleaner on each plug and sensor before reconnecting.
Read about draining old fuel, prob 1/4 tank due to condensation, can you do this on a passat...? Would fuel lines emulsify...?
Was thinking about filling 1/2 the fuel filter with injector cleaner but the few articles I've read mention it works over time so maybe not a good idea.
Pretty much expecting a fair few electrical problems when re-energising.
Any other actions I should take do you think.
