Retrofit heated washer jets?

Just got a new (well, old ...) bonnet to replace the damaged one on mine and it came with heated washer jets whereas mine didn't. The car is a Nov. 01 reg. (so 2002 model year TDi PD130 estate) and the new bonnet came of an 04 reg. Highline. I have the bonnet with jets attached and the water hose/electrics as far as the first grommet on the body and can connect the water hose OK. But I was thinking 'how about getting the heaters working' and wondering how? I've seen the diagram at ... http://www.ukpassats.co.uk/phpbb/viewto ... 33&t=57218 ... and wondered if all I need is the wiring harness labelled (1) from that diagram?

Anyone know?

And on the same topic, does that wiring (harness 1) route through the wing alongside the water hose or does it stay in the bonnet area?
