V6 TDI HARD TO START
My mate has a B5.5 V6 TDI which I do most of the work on for him as he is not mechanicaly minded. Car runs great, starts first turn of the key when cold but when the engine is hot it is very hard to start, can take up too 15 seconds of constant cranking before it fires up. All filters have been changed and fuel cap left off to test for vacum in the tank caused by a blocked vent in the cap, but all to no effect. Any ideas?
