Spacers and springs

Hi all,

after a bit of thought on what I'd like to do to my b5.5 I was wondering which spacers to use to get the look I'm going for. This is my daily driver so I'm not going too mad with it as I still want some comfort. I want to keep the OEM look if possible. I am going to lower the car 40mm but I want the wheels spaced further out and not hidden deep inside the arches. It's on 15s at the moment but I may get a set of 16s for it later on. Is the offset the same for both these wheels? And what size spacers would give the best look?
