Hi guys, one of my mates had an EGR blanking plate and decided to fit it to my car last week as my EGR was gunked up and probably not doing a whole lot of good to the car anyway.
After doing the delete, my brake pedal went stiff and the brakes were really poor so he took the blanking plate out and put the car back the way it had been. Unfortunately this has not rectified the issue with the brakes....
Vacuum pipes have been checked and all seem to be intact.
My friend reckoned that perhaps coincidentally the brake servo pump has failed and just needs to be replaced but I wondered if anyone here might have any suggestions?
