engine cut out
For the last month or so my 130 sport est 04reg avf engine, has had the nasty habit of cutting out ,but only while at very low speed , i.e whilst coming to a rolling stop or whilst setting off between 1st & 2nd gear.it has had the "check engine oil level" and a yellow static oil light on the dash, ( level has been checked and it is fine )there was no fault reading on vag com when green flag came out to me so they didn`t have a clue, garage also had no fault reading on there`s either, but yesterday it cut out again, it never gives any warning it`s going to happen it just cuts out ( usually in the most awkward places )it has been a full week between breakdowns so i`m turning to you to see if anybody else has had this problem.Need to get to the bottom of it as we are going to cornwall in it in August. thanks in anticipation.
