Today I lowered my car and fitted 18" AMG's.....

As per title really. A job I've wanted to do since getting the car 18 months ago!

The suspension is TA Technix coilovers set roughly half way on the front and back. The fronts were a complete nightmare to remove the old shocks. Both pinch bolts were stuck solid so rather than risk snapping them we did it without removing them - very awkward! Undone the drop links and bottom bolt, them with LOTS of prying we eventually got them out. Fitting the new ones was easy. The back took perhaps 30 mins per side and were really simple. All in all it took us about 5.5 hours!

The ride is surprisingly good, no nasty bouncing and it doesn't even feel that hard, I'm surprised.

The wheels are 18" genuine AMG's

Anyway, here's a photo.....
