As title. My 1.8t has started to sound really tappy. Started just doing it when cold, now does it all the time. Also i have started getting the dreaded oil pressue warning.
Im not sure if the two are connected or not?
Ive had advise from different people ranging from just give it a oil serivce (and check for sludge and maybe give the sump a clean out and change some oil pipe thing...if its bad) to it being the tappets that need changing?
The tapping gets faster as the rev's rise.
Ideas people?
