water in my mrs B5.5

I recently bought a 2001 passat 1.8t. When i bought it i knew the remote locking and alarm were faulty. But it was a bargain so wasn't too bothered. I knew it would be water, and sure enough the floor was wet. We hope we have sorted the leak in from the front to the passenger foot well but wont know until it rains.

But last week we noticed the boot carpet was wet. Anyone had a similar problem or have any idea were the water in the boot gets in?

Also, i need to replace the waterproof bullet connectors in the wiring to the CCU under the foot well, cuz the box still seems to work. Even tho the alarm makes no sounds the indicators still flash and pressing the key stops them. So i hope its just wet corroded wiring that needs cleaning up. Anyone had to buy some and where did they get them? And did it solve the problem?

Any help with this will be helpful.
