Central locking positioner removal

I have created this new thread in case my original one does not get opened. I wish to remove the central door locking from the drivers door (RHD) but I can't see how to remove the positioner.
I have attached 2 photos, one taken from outside with the door handle removed, the other of the positioner itself although that attachment has been rotated by 90 degrees (as it was on the the original thread but I'm no computer nerd!)
