Hi, 8 have the 54mm gerling caliper upfront. I changed the pads no problem but have stubborn caliper carrier bolts so the discs will have to wait (impact wrench at the weekend).
However I noticed the caliper pistons have some pretty heavy pitting and corrosion on them but the seals seam tired but intact.
I can get the rebuild kits including piston for about £36 a side off ebay but new calipers are abiut £90 a pair (also from the bay). I'm thinking rebuild as I'd rather keep the genuine calipers and the car is SORNd anyway.
Any experience with a rebuild or the cheap calipers?
