OK.
I was about to set about fitting my coilovers but it struck me i might not have everything i need (partswise). I asked in the shop i got the topmounts if i needed anything else and they said no, but all ive got is this:
Where at the top it just has the springs and piston rod thing floating around for the front.
So do the bits i need lift off the old suspension, or is it going to be a bitch with that stupid little nut that you have to get a screwdriver and a hammer onto (as per mk2 golf) to release and get the rest of the stuff off.
Alternatively, can i buy these parts, if needed at all. I'm confused.
ps - for the rears you can see what i comes with. Again, ive got a new rubber mount thing but do i need anything else?
Cant find my haynes so an exploded disgram of the suspension setup would be ace. b3 passat estate BTW.
Coilover Fitting! Hellllp please.
