I have bonus due at the end of the month and a back dated payrise due in march with a lump sum payment
So im hankering for a change, something cheaper to run and maintain and something of the Wagon variety and above all else some thing a bit rarer and more retro looking than the B5 which irritatingly still looks modern even 15 years on
Im a sucker for older cars and the B5 is the newest car i've owned bar 1 which will remain un-named for now
so fancy going back a bit, but have got used to the more luxurious features to the more modern car (climate control for one)So, I fancy a B3 or B4 wagon, I sideing with a B4 currently mainly because i can opt for a later TDi one which i belive can come with the infamous AFN engine?? and id gues a few more mod cons than an early b3??
what are the key points to look for on these?? Anyone have or know of a decent one for sale?? basically any help or advise on it is welcome
