Brake & Suspension Upgrade

[B3 Newbie]

Hi all,

am i right in thinking you can just swap from solid discs to vented? I got 256mm solid at the min and they need replacing so was gonna upgrade to vented. Do i just need thiner pads to allow for the thicker discs?

also its time for coilies cus sick of driving a boat, are these TA Technix as good as people say? not fussed about going stupidly low cus still want some comfort and will be on 14" rims.
