Headlight Bulbs?!

Sorry if this is a repost but couldn't find what I was looking for

After spending a while on google I found that some sites say my headlights are H4 type and some say they are H1 and one more said H7

Its a 1996 b4 passat.

Upgrading to a better quality bulb and need to know what type I need!
