Hi, i have a 95 16v passat and my drivers side front brake has started sticking. It doesnt effect the car to drive, but it heats up a lot, so much that smoke comes from the brakes after about 20 miles. It didnt used to do it and has only happened after i havent driven the car for about 2 weeks.
I took it all apart today, cleaned the caliper, spryed brake cleaner everywhere, copper greased everything and put it back together, but it hasnt made any difference. The wheel spins with oinly a very slight rubbing noise, normally nothing to worry about, but something is clearly not right. The brakes work perfectly too.
Any ideas how to fix it?
