3 weeks back a hose blew on the 1.8RP. it was the hose going from the top of the waterpump to the top-hose , its 's' shaped and about 8 inches long.(make sense?).
It was replaced, teh system was drained and new coolent added. however I thought I had a major airlock after new coolent was added it continued to to spillover the header tank (lid off). After a couple of days of trying I concluded it wasn't an airlock but possibly the waterpump/stat so these were both changed.
refilled the coolent but still has the same problem.
no mayo in the rocker cover, top and bottom hose are getting warm/hot as is rad. (so assume the new pump is ok?)
any thoughts on what to try next?
