I have sorted the new panels (front drivers wing and drivers door), and have them ready to go on with replacement hinges for the door (the door half). However the other half of the hinge is bent, as so:

Compared to a scrap B3:

So, has anyone straightened these successfully before? As it stands i believe i have three options:
1) Straighten these. I've had a crack today with a King Dick adjustable spanner and a length scaffold tube, they are better but nowhere near and the tool slips off now!
2) Replace the individual hinges, doable however i anticipate getting those perfectly square difficult. Plus not sure if my migs up to doing such deep welds!
3) Replace the outer skin of the A-pillar from a donor with the hinges unmoved. Suggested by a local Mk2 Golf specialist, however looking at the many skins and spot welds it seems alot of chopping, welding and disturbing on a rot free structural area!
