sunroof not working and electric windows.

i have just bought a b4 1.8 cl estate. The car has been looked after but the sunroof's not working. When i press the switch i can hear a click but that is it no movement in the sunroof. It works manually with an allenkey but is very stiff and not practical to do. Does anyone have any ideas as to the problem? I know of the same vehicle in a scrap yard so if i can find the problem hopefully i can salvage the parts needed. Also the drivers window stops about am inch from the top and clicks, refusing to go any further. One of the rear windows does not work at all. Any help on this would be great. Thanks, andy...
