Mmm im just wondering

My drivers door window works with the key in the lock goes up. Goes down.
In the car engine running. Press the switch for passenger window. No problem.
Press the drivers door window to go down doesnt work.
Then all of a sudden, ta daa it goes down

Well the car has been parked up for one and a half weeks and when it got parked up the drivers door wimdow refusses to go down or up by using the switch on the door. So if iwantednit down i had to put the key in the lock and hold it on unlock to wind it down a bit.

Now its back on the road after a battery charge. Last night i pressed the switch and open sesame down the damn thing went.
Oh and back up.

I thought this was the switch, but now im thinking its the wiring.
I cant make my mind up to what it could be.
Any ideas. ?
