Occasional hesitancy 4th or 5th gear

95% of the time the 'trooper runs as sweet as a nut but sometimes, usually on a decent run, if i have to lift off the gas for any reason and then go to accelerate again it feels like thete is no power. Almost as if theres a blockage. Its only momentarily and then it picks up again.
Its not because im in too high a gear and only seems to occur in 4th or 5th.

At the other end of the scale sometimes my engine cuts out under braking, but only as im about to come to a halt. If im still rolling i just do a jump start and off we go again

Any thoughts?
