One persons MINT is another persons dog!

So we drove for 4 hours for the "MINT" B3 to find a very non mint car, but I wasn't coming home without it after all that way!
Mikeage is genuine and runs perfectly, however! Clutch is on last legs I think, bites right at top and judderes on take off, once rolling gearchanges are perfect. Power steering groans when stationary and steering feels heavier than I expected so that needs investigating too, bodywork wise it's immaculate, not a mark, bar the disclosed rear arch which has been blown in and not a matching white and there is slight surface rust coming through, the housing for the light switch is cracked so switch sort of hang there loose, this will have to b fixed straight away as very annoying!, and finally drivers window comes off runner slightly but works.
So got a bit annoyed and was gutted after being told it was mint, but not a lot of work and it will be, plus I waved £600 at him and he took it so £200 off, pics up soon. If anyone happens to be breaking a B3 I need a light switch surround ASAP.
On the upside, she drove for 4 hours home faultlessly bar the clutch judde on moving off, so all in all pleased for£600 with years ticket, tax and 64k.
