Hi Chris, I'm hearing good things about the remaps here.
Would you be able to do my 1.8t? (well I know you can lol) But would you be able to know why its not boosting properly? as I've got a boost gauge fitted and I think the problem maybe in the N75 valve or air box.

Oh yeah my car is running totally standard minus lowered suspension. But I'm hoping to have a ths decat and panel filter soon before arranging a date. Thanks

Just mention your name and the forum when you call and I'll remember..

mu99, The price for the 170PD and 105PD price is now £229. Where are you located - I'm assuming NOT Manchester from your username but maybe I'm stereotyping :-j
I should be able to do about a 10% discount for two vehicles, but let me know on your location and I can be exact.
With regards to economy, what sort of improvements are you wanting/expecting ? The reason I ask this question is that there is a lot of rubbish on the net these days regarding unachievable economy improvements, I would say 5% is possible but much more than this would require a change in driving style - more difficult in your auto. Feel free to call me if you wish to discuss this, on the above number.

Dan, £199 for the 115PD. I'd want to do some data logging before and after - up the A61 is best for this, the Brampton locals wouldn't be too impressed with some drags up Chatsworth Road
Sorry about the late reply mate.
Im from the Yorkshire ends to be honest so a really good guess there! At the moment I'm getting about 35/40mpg tops on the 170. Probably closer to 35 and I want it, well, as close to 40 if not 45 or eveb higher like my old b5.5 passat. the golf has just had a sachs clutch and flywheel added (which cost an arm and a leg!) so that should be good with the remap. On that I'm getting about 40/45 and any increases would be great. Would the dpf be affected on the 170? And can the dsg handle it? And roughly what gains would I see on the passat and golf. Bhp/torque/mpg

Sorry for the slow reply fella's - Where's the email notification when a new post is made, Ant.... :-P
Taylonm - Did you sort the boost issue ? Which engine code do you have ?
manu - The dpf will be costing you some mpg, if you want to remove it then I can map out the coding so you wont get limp mode/MILs etc.
The DSG will handle the gains no problem.
Many places will tell you that they will increase your economy by 20% or whatever and then when you don't get anywhere near that they'll say you're driving it wrong etc. The point I'm making here, is that I don't want you go ahead with this then be disappointed that you aren't getting the mpg improvements that you'd hoped.
I don't want remapping mpg improvements to become the latest 'snake oil' :0
Feel free to call me to discuss anything - 07957 240822

Cheers

Simon.

Cheers

Hi
I'm interested in getting my Touran done as per my signature. I think its a PD and not the later type 2.0 engine though? Dunno.
Could you do my mates 55 plate E46 330D at the same time? He is fairly happy with the power, but he only gets 35mpg which isn't great. Would you maybe say go for the EGR delete on that as well?
Also if you were coming to Stafford (Jct 14) then I may be able to rope my mate in to get his E92 320d done as well.

Hi pugboy,

What year is your Touran ?
I've got the same engine as your mate in my coupe E46. We can minimise the egr functionality though the s/w - turning it off completely causes a MIL. He can blank it if he wishes though. More important though I think is to remove the swirl flaps - tell him to contact me if he wants more info on this.
What year and bhp is the 320d ? Swirl flaps removal is a good idea on this also !
Feel free to email me regarding this simon(at)ccctech.co.uk

Cheers

Thanks

Mine is a 2003 and for some reason the 2003 Touran seems slightly different to the 2004 onwards models. For example my stereo if half integrated behind the dashboard where say a 54 plate would be the same thing, but more like we are used to seeing in the current VAG cars.

My mate has the E46 330cd. My other mate has a 57 plate E92 320d.

You will have the 136bhp variant, the torque output is the same at 320Nm. It's no drama to remap though.

Was showing my mates your website, but my mate was a little disappointed that you dont list a remap for his 57 plate 320d. It only lists the older lower power model. I told him I doubt it was a problem. Also why are the testimonials all from 2002/2003? Not saying its dodgy or anything mate - just thought it seemed strange that you hadn't updated it.

So does he have the 177bhp version ?
I took off the customer entry testimonials because of spam and just haven't been bothered to manually update them ! or make them all up like loads of other sites :-o
There's plenty of general testimonials avail by google-ing..
The website does need updating to be fair, but if say I can do a car then I can and will have done one before, if I can't do it (or won't do it for one reason or another) then I will say so, if I've not personally done a particular car before then I will also advise you.
I don't bullsh1t and wont risk someones pride and joy (or my wallet consequently), if I'm not 100% sure then I wont do it.
Hope this helps.

Yeah thats fine Simon. Probably should have worded it better. What I meant to say was my workmate was disappointed that your website didn't have his car on and what the bhp increase would be. Its the 177bhp version yes. I know you come with plenty of recommendation so I have no hesitations myself. :)

Well hopefully I will be in touch in a couple of months once xmas is paid for.
