vacuum pipe and economy light

while doing my exhaust manifold gasket i found a stray vacuum pipe! me and a couple of others searched for it but found nothing!
so tonight i took the carb off and found it
it was right at the base behind another pipe! connected it and now i have an economy light on my dash! handy but sooo bloody annoyin at night 
anyone else find this bright yellow led a bit of a distraction?
