which 50mm for my D60

im looking at getting a 50mm lens for my D60 for portrait work the 2 im looking at are
1. Nikon 50mm f1.4 G AF-S Lens
2. Nikon 50mm f1.8 D AF Lens
which will give me the best picture in sharpness and quality i no the 2nd one has no auto focus with my D60 but it is nearly
