It's a 2 litre petrol with 174k on it.
I have plans to restore it and bring it back to it's former glory, but not really modify it.
It will be used for work and has to be reliable enough to do summer holidays....my justification to the missus for having another dub!
It has lots wrong with it, mainly bodywork, especially around the windscreen and lacquer peel everywhere.
But, the engine seems good (so far!) and it's awesome to drive.
I've spent countless hours cleaning as the previous owner worked on a farm and tonight have replaced the wiper motor and linkages....the old one was strapped together with bungee cord, which came away driving it home from Peterborough, last Thursday night in a storm
Oh and the front valance mounted dummy lenses have been replaced too.
I'll be starting on the engine bay tomorrow, as I have some time off.
It's cool and I love it, so fingers crossed!
