Well a short story on my estate, I had a 16v astra and after realising it was a piece of poop I did a week of overtime and managed to get a grand to spend on a passat, after looking around I found mine in kendal, it had done 170 odd thousand, was very clean, had partial service history and had just had new AP suspension, cambelt kit, water pump, all belts done, new tyres and had a few nice little mods, I managed to get it for £1350. After picking it up I fell in love with it, superb quality compared to the astra, a million times better on fuel and was a nice comfortable drive.
I have loads of plans for it but this is how it stands to date...
lowered 30 rear 40 front but Im either going 50 rear or getting coilovers
changed engine oil
dewipered

fitted 18" 8.5j wheels
fitted new cat
new windscreen
