Well Passat number 2 has landed, Struggled to find a cheap one that wasn't knackered but settled on this 2000 'S' model with Climatronic and all electrics for not a lot of money at all
Has a Scuff to the Passenger side rear arch and needs a rad (already in the post) other than that its a service and its set for miles.
Already started getting rid of the horrible light grey interior and and toying with going down the 2 tone route and saving some of the grey as its in remarkable condition.
Couple of pics, the only ones i have and taken during the interior swap out
So the new interior is out of a 5.5 estate, well, sort of, front seats are, 3/4's of the rears are, and the 60% of the seat back is to be the rest of the foam and covers from the set mounted on a 5.5 saloon frame
I like to make it easy
Watch this space for more of the same, will be brought down closer to earth sooner or later and some wheels (fancy some Largo's) and a few other OEM+ touches
