Passat B5 VR5

Hi I am new to VW's and this is my first post.
I am building a collection of modern classics such as Volvo V70R's Mercedes CE 300-24 Coupe's and a few oddballs Subaru SVX, CL 600 V12, but couldn't help buy this Passsat VR5 when I saw it.
It has only 60K miles and is still only one owner as lost into the trade as 2 dealerships took it into stock but went into liquidation so has only the original owner listed so new buyer will be second owner from new on completion of V62 and the £25 Postal Order I have.
I have been trying to research the exact model but despite having the VIN and PR numbers and the original Dovercourt Belsize road stamps all I can trace is Trendline spec.
It is however full black leather spec with dark wood trim, Satin Silver body almost immaculate, Montreal Alloys, Glass Sunroof etc.
A local VW specialist,( not the Marshalls Main Dealer who didnt even want to look at ) thinks it is Sport Model.
If so according to 'how many cars left' this is a one of one. True Unicorn car. Just need to prove it!
Any help in trying to prove the provenance would be most welcome!
