New,but not to VWs.

Hi to all,joined site a couple of days ago.Looks interesting so i think i'll be looking in and hopefully contributing where i can.Can't believe i havn't come across this site before :o .As it says above,new to this site ,but not VWs.Here's a list of the VWs i've owned in the past.
Beetle 1970,1300cc
Beetle 1971,1300cc
Golf Mk1 1979,1500cc Gls
Golf Mk1 1981,1600cc Gti
Golf Mk1 1983,1800cc Gti
Scirocco Storm,1985,1800cc Gti
Passat 1984,2000cc Gl5
Passat 1990,2000cc Gt 16v
I've owned Gt 16v for 10 years now having bought it with 52,000m on the clock,it's now covered a total of 119,000m.It still goes like a rocket but also feels safe with the benefit of plenty of room for occupants.The gear box is still also smooth on the changes.There's a few signs of wear and tear showing now like the marquee effect inside from the hanging headliner .Thanks for taking time to read this,all the best Steve.
