I'm new to the world of virtual Passat chat, but a long term owner of B3 and B4 Estates as my daily hack abouts.
Anyway... just bought a 24,000 miles B2 from an old lady who'd been told she was no longer fit to drive. She'd taken it to the scrapyard and decided to weigh it in. Suffice to say my mate saw it, clocked the mileage and had a good ol' poke around underneath to see if it was too good to be true. Turned out it was solid and I gave him £500 for the 1.8 Auto and haven't stopped smiling since.
With a bit of air ride and some fake Fuchs rims it's coming along nicely.
Has anyone ever tackled a 1.8T engine swap into a Longitudinal Passat before? If so... what mounts are used and what's the easiest way to go about it?
