Newbe from Shropshire thinking about a wagon

Hi there Paul here from Shropshire (well near RAF cosford)been into cars since the age of 16 when my dad brought me a MK2 escort, a welder and a compressor and told me to get one with it

I have quite a few cars since then but never owned a VW but i have been working on my sons MK1 caddy for the last year.
Having been to a few VW shows i like the look of the wagon, i think they have quite nice lines and look very nice with a few subtle mods.

I need an estate car to do the odd run in and have been looking at the TDi passat estates. Not too sure on the model code but around 2003, again not too sure what colours they come in but i like the light metallic green ones, but have seen a few light metallic brown ones at the shows which i like but not sure if is it’s a official colour.

So as i am new to the forum can any one educate me on what code is a 2003 ? i not sure if it is a B5 or a B5.5 ? Also is there a list of the colours they were available in.
