INFO ON THE SHOW -

Hello all . As promised UKPassats are trying to get your club to as many of our local shows as possible - if you want to help out feel free to inbox us - but this is a club stand - see ALL details and info below -

GENERAL INFORMATION
This page is to provide with you with (hopefully) all general information needed to enjoy a weekend with us at CumbriaVAG Show & Shine Festival ’18

CumbriaVAG 2018 is a 2-day event, with camping available on Saturday night.
Gates will open at 12.30 lunchtime on Saturday and will stay open until 9.00pm.
Entry for the public on Sunday is from 10 am however club stands, trade stands and show and shine entries will be accepted on site from 8.30 am.

Entry at the gate is via advanced e-tickets purchased from our tickets page, you will receive e-tickets that you will need to print out and bring with you on the day. Tickets will be exchanged for a wristband on the gate once you have been checked into the event. Alternatively you can pay on arrival, but, we advise you buy advanced tickets for faster entry on the day and a guaranteed camping place, it’s also cheaper! Dogs on leads are welcome!

Kids need their own ticket to camp on Saturday night (only £5.00 each), and must be accompanied by a paying adult. Entry on Sunday is free for anyone under 17 accompanied by a paying adult.

SATURDAY NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
We will have DJ’s playing in the main Showfield from 18.00 until 01.30 this will be loud, there is a Quiet Camping area well away from the music tent. Please book quiet/family camping tickets from the ticket page if you require these.

FOOD
We have loads of food outlets this year at CumbriaVAG including plenty of choice for veggies! From Burgers, Fish and Chips and a Hog Roast from Spit’n’Crackle, Salt & Pepper Chicken & Chips from Chill & Chow, Fresh Coffee to Ice Cream and Donuts!

DISABLED FACILITIES
There are disabled toilets on site in various places.

The showground itself is very flat with hard standing roads throughout the site for wheelchair access.
We have also reserved an area for disabled parking. Any problems or enquiries either ask on the day (we are very helpful) or send us a quick email to admin@cumbriavag.co.uk and we will do our best to answer any questions you have!

KIDS!
Loads for the kids to do at this year’s show, face painting, balloon modelling, and bouncy castles.

TOILETS/WASHING
Loads of toilets on site over the weekend.
Plenty of hard standing water points on site too for washing cars/filling kettles/water bombs, these will be signposted on the map.

CAMPING
Camping will be available on Saturday night. No camping is available on Sunday or Friday.
When arriving on-site you will be allotted a camping area and a bin bag so if you are coming with friends please try and arrive together.

Please avoid glass bottles, there are agricultural shows on the following weekends with animals that can be injured by broken glass.

There is family/quiet camping available but this will need to be booked in advance as space is limited. This is booked through the ticket checkout.

BBQ’S/CAMPFIRES
BBQ’s are NOT PERMITTED. Gas stoves are the only acceptable cooking equipment permitted on site.

No campfires allowed at all.

Security has the authority to extinguish any charcoal BBQ’s or campfires.

FORBIDDEN ITEMS!
Most things should go without saying really but just to make it crystal clear please do not bring –
Any drugs at all – Absolute zero tolerance and offenders will be removed from site and reported to Cumbria Constabulary. Vehicles and persons are liable for random searches over the weekend.
Fireworks
Glass/Glass bottles (broken glass and tyres don’t mix well)
No open fires at all, and no BBQ’s anywhere.

CAMPSITE POLICIES
For safety reasons no vehicles are to be moved around the site after 9.30 pm or after dark (whichever comes first) there are exceptions to this rule, but must be agreed with a member of CumbriaVAG staff or a security member and accompanied by them.
Music in the campsite is to be turned off at 10.45pm as to not disturb anyone who wishes to stay away from the entertainment tent, as well as this music must be stopped at 9.30 pm within the quiet/family camping area. Failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave the site.

Although CumbriaVAG and its members hope you have an enjoyable time at our show we ask you to be respectful of our site and our club, we must insist that no campfires are allowed, and all rubbish (bottles, cans, food waste) are put into the bin liners that will be provided for you on arrival.

CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL ON SITE.
Drinking in the campsite is allowed as long as this does not cause a nuisance to any other person, no alcohol is allowed to be taken onto the showground itself from the campsite, there will be a fully licensed bar at which you will be able to purchase alcohol.

In relation to the legal age of drinking on arrival, you may be asked for identification for proof of age, and an over 18-wristband will be issued (failure to produce a regulated form of identification will result in no wristband being issued). The use of the wristband is to make I.Ding a lot easier when at the bar in the entertainment tent. This, however, does not stop the bar staff asking for I.D. again if they choose to. Failure to provide a form of I.D. will result in you not being served.

Anyone seen to be drinking alcohol purchased from the bar within the show field itself who do not have a wristband will either be asked to move to the campsite or have it taken off them. We are not trying to spoil anyone’s fun; we have to do this to stay within the law.

DISCLAIMER
CumbriaVAG holds a no drugs policy, anyone found to be in breach of this will be asked to leave the site immediately.

All vehicles and contents are left at owner’s own risk, CumbriaVAG and its partners cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to property.
Anyone who is asked to leave and does not comply will be reported to Cumbria police. Anyone who is asked to leave because of a breach to any of the above mentioned will not be entitled to any refund from the club or its partners.

Entry can be refused on the day.

No refunds are available for online purchased tickets.
