Here we go for the second time as the first draft crashed when posting

First of all thanks to all that voted for me

Where do we start.............

well I bought the 'ssat back in 2005 as a fleet disposal as it fit the bill perfectly as it had full dealer history, leather and a turbo :D

it stayed standard for the first three years of ownership as I enjoyed the legendary VW reliabilty as i was covering a fair amount of miles at the time

then the time came that the car needed four tyres :(

so I had to make a decision
a)buy four tyres
b)buy a wheel and tyre package

as you have probably guessed I went for option b :D (it was all downhill from here)

so I ordered a set of s3 reps then sat wondering "are they going to look right"
once the wheels were on I needed to work on the arch gap but also needed to be useable everyday as the daily
so I fitted a set of Eibach springs

Then I turned my attention to POWER!!

so I started buying engine upgrades

1) pipercross induction kit (replaces the lower part of the air box)
2)forge induction pipe (standard one was sucking flat when under full load)
3)ths de-cat pipe (trackdays only ;) )
4)380cc s3 injectors
5)jetex stainless exhaust system
6)iridium spark plugs
7)n75 j valve (more aggressive when coming on boost)
8)forged dump valve (AmD)
9)dibilas fast road cams (still in the boxes waiting for bigger turbo first  )

that little lot got me to a figure of 224.4 bhp when it got it's final custom map so I was well happy :D

then I found a problem.......

getting the thing to stop

so I had a word with a friend at tarox and we came up with the setup of

tarox six pot calipers (repainted lambo orange)
tarox braided hoses
tarox sport japan discs

which to tarox's knowledge had never been fitted to a passat as we had to use trail fit parts from other models B)

with me now suitably satisfied with the way it went and stopped i turned my attentions to the way it looked

job 1

windows tinted

job 2

dvd head unit

job 3

Audi TT steering wheel

job 4

b5.5 rear lights

job 5

carbon effect roof

job 6

us spec corner lights

job 7

private plate

and with things looking ok now I needed to search out some new wheels

enter team dynamics equinox 8" fronts and 9" rears

got those fitted and then really had to think about stance :-?

but luckily my circumstances had just changed and the 'ssat is no longer a daily

so i thought I have got to get it sat right coilovers ordered :D

i know there will be loads more that i have done but that is the major things I can think of

glad you like it
it spurs me on to do more

thanks again guys and girls

cheers

Craig
