After 2 years in mk2 golfs and Polos or two I decided i wanted a Wagon, and after seeing a few on here and a few lads on GolfGTI making the swap the search started .

I then did what i always advise people NOT to do, bought the first one i viewed.

So, 61k with FULL Dovercourt VW Service history including Original Bill of Sale. :0

Got a few scabby bits on it, worst being a scuff over the NSR wheel arch.

But that said, it aint at all bad, and all for 400 notes i didnt even haggle [-x

Image

Image

Image

Image

Plan was to just run it as was, but lasted a day :-!

well i cant help but tinker, so

Image

Image

Image

wasnt to sure on putting my trade mark yellow lights on, ever since my biking days i have run them

Image

And i was smitten so it was time for the golf to go, so Stereo sub etc out and in the Canal Boat too as was the plate.

next up was a full valet from a mate setting up his business, it has been an old doctors car so hasnt had much in the way of TLC

Image

Image

Image

Image

then turned into load luggar for todays Valet for my mate

Image

So Wheels first, Markspassrats RS8 reps went on first but she was looking like a 4X4 summat Lawsy enjoyed the pee take

Image

and a group shot ~x( god it was HIGH

Image

Decision was then made that i would have to slam this, so it was time to say good by too

Image to make room and make some cash

decided even when dropped the RS8s werent for me so off they came and got sold and the red golf was relieved of its BBS

Image

A set of Weitec coilies came up on here, so down she went

Image

Image

Image

then a big D'oh moment ( aswell as the speed hump to get on unit - where i live :0 )

Image

Image

then as usual with me, i couldnt help mesen when a set of G60s came up, but they were short lived as the profile was a tad low

Image

So it was back on with the BBS.

And she isnt just for show season, the old girl gets used and abused

Image

Next up was a full service, new brakes all round and a General check over. Suppose i should have done that first :ymparty:

I did it down further, but i couldnt get it on or off the drive :((

So she is back to a sensible height

then a set of BBS came up cheap and i need tyres so set number TOO many went on

Image

then i got offered a silly amount for them, si they got sold and the orignal BBS went back on shod in new Rainsport IIs

Gave all the black trim a few coverings of boiled linseed oil and they seem to be lasting ok .

I then took her to a Rolling Road meet and the lads thought it would be funny to see the old girl on the Rollers, and i was most pleased with it only being a couple of BHP down from when she left the factory and the boys at JKM said she was running sweet :-bd

Image

And thats how she sits today . but i am searching for a new set of rims 8-}

Image

Other plans, Tint all the rear windows, or just more stickers and maybe get the rear arch and front bumper sorted and thats about it.

thanks for reading and thanks again Bob ^:)^
