Replacement high rear stoplight -2010 1.6 tdi estate

All rear high stop lamp replacements on VW Passat estates seem to be held in place by four clips which have holes drilled in back door frame to ease out the clips. All of the video clips seem to be how to replace this type
My replacement stop lamp for the 2010 1.6TDI estate has two screw holes - one at each end but there is no way is it possible to get at let alone undo these screws through the estate back door drilled holes in the frame.
Could the only possible solution to replace this lamp be the fact that the spoiler has a join along the full length which could possibly be levered open. Has anyone come across this type of spoiler or have any idea if the spoiler can be levered open
