HOW TO -Adjusting headlamps for driving abroad

This is a quick 'How to' for adjusting the headlamps on my 2001 Passat to allow me to drive on the continent .

1. Locate your pass side headlight


2. Remove the Power steering reservoir cover (just unclips).



3. Remove the Main Beam cover.



4. Locate the Silver Tab inside the unit between the main beam and dip beam units (circled in Pink).



5. Push the silver tab in its oposite direction until it comes to a stop ( I think its down for pass side and up for drivers side)

6. Drivers side is the same after you have removed the air-intake pipe, again this just pulls apart.
